Rebecca swam at a friend's pool today, so I brought Marianna, Joseph, and two guests to ours. I relaxed in a lounge chair, reading a novel. I closed my eyes. I played dibble-dabble!
The afternoon was certainly easier than a typical pool excursion with a five year old, but it felt . . . strange. Except for the dibble-dabble. I love that game as much as the kids do.
