Summer Reading

Phases of Womanhood is a non-profit organization that offers spiritual inspiration, practical resources, and a supportive community for Catholic women, aiding us in our search for God--our pursuit of wisdom, purpose, and fulfillment. The website has just been updated, and is a real pleasure to browse. This month I submitted an article about one of our family traditions:

Although our whole family enjoys the end of formal schooling for the summer, I don't want our brains to turn to mush. For years now, we've used summer reading to keep the kids sharp. With page goals for each child, summer’s leisure lets them read their way to prizes galore.
